Kiln-Dried Slabs, Ready to Build
Every slab we sell is kiln dried and stable, so what you see is what you get. No guessing on moisture, no waiting a year for air drying. Our stock covers the species Oklahoma builders and woodworkers ask for most: black walnut, white oak, pecan, red oak, hickory, cedar, maple, cherry, elm, and sycamore.
Pricing is simple and posted on every slab. Clean slabs run $20 per board foot and our most beautiful, highly figured slabs run $30 per board foot. The board footage and price are chalked right on the wood, so there are no surprises at the counter.
Cut From Our Own Mills
We mill much of our own stock. Our on-site bandsaw mill cuts up to 26 inches wide and 21 feet long, and our off-site mill handles giants up to 58 inches wide and 18 feet long. That means we regularly have the wide, single-slab widths that are hard to find anywhere else in the metro.
From Slab to Finished Top
Buying the slab is only the start. Our shop can flatten and surface your slab, and our builders can turn it into a dining table, desk, coffee table, bar top, or mantle, finished and ready for your home. Shop labor runs $130 per hour, untaxed, and we will quote your project up front.
